HOW MUCH RAIN FALLS ON YOUR ROOF?Would you be surprised to hear 50,000 gallons annually? That’s the answer when big and small homes are averaged together and different levels of rain fall are taken into account (see Table 1). A modest ½” of rain yields 700 gallons of rain water on a typical roof and all of that pours through your downspouts. Rain barrels are an excellent way to collect and store some of your rain water for use between rains, for example, to water your gardens using soaker hoses. The cost to set up a few rain barrels is modest and easily recouped through savings from reduced water and sewer bills.
We're here to help you find a rain barrel and integrate it into your home by making it look and work seamlessly with your house and downspouts. We have everything you need - barrels, downspout diverters, barrel stands, hose connections and whether you spend $1 or $100 with us, it all comes along with 12-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week, unlimited, toll-free technical and moral support by people who love to talk all day long about nothing but rain.
Rain2O was founded by a consumer who went shopping for a rain barrel and didn’t like what he found. He started his own company, got to know the people who make and install rain gutters and downspouts; went to the plants making barrels; and worked with sheet metal shops. The result is a set of products which work better AND are much more affordable than anything else you will find on the internet.

Shipping Information: Most of our rain barrels are drop-shipped directly from the plant in New Jersey via UPS and leave within 5-10 days of order; our Cascata urn-shapped 65 gallon barrels are shipped from our McLean, VA, location when in stock. Because of the popularity of the Cascata, this item sometmes runs out of stock. Classic diverters are also drop-shipped but usually leave the plant within one business day; Inchworm diverters are shipped from McLean, VA.
Because of the additional costs involved in shipping beyond the 48 contiguous United States, our shipping policy and fixed shipping rates do not apply to Hawaii or Alaska though we will work very hard with customers in these states to ship as economically as possible.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies: If you are unsatisfied, you can - with prior email approval - return your merchandise within 30 days and, as long as it is in the same condition that we shipped it, you will receive a refund of the purchase price, excluding our cost to have shipped it to you. This policy does not apply if you do not obtain prior approval via email. It is especially important to receive prior approval because some of our merchandise is drop-shipped from other locations and therefore we need to give you the address to which you should return your merchandise.
